Neurotic Control Freak

I am a 30-ish Texas gal who likes life to be planned and orderly.  Spontaneity is not my strength, and patience is not a virtue that I readily embrace.  I have dreams and ideas and wishes, but everything seemed to be on pause for awhile.  I was struggling to find the reason for this pause, and the thing I kept coming back to was that maybe it was time to learn how to not be a "control freak".  Wouldn't you
know that as soon as I started to really listen to what God was trying to tell me He released the pause button, and life is suddenly hurtling forward at an alarming pace!  I'm so thankful for the blessings I've been given, and I am most definitely learning to let God be God instead of trying to figure this crazy life out by myself!

This blog is intended to be a place for me to vent frustrations, share experiences, and hopefully learn a thing or two as I write.  I don't know where this will take me, but I do know that I want to have a record of the journey.

Thanks for stopping by!
